Gadgets

These two items have a special relation to my collection. It are small hand-made oil lamps and they come from Senegal. They were purchased in The Netherlands in a so-called 'Wereldwinkel'. That's a shop which sells products from all over the world, produced in a human-friendly and environmental-friendly way.

The two lamps are made from empty tomato paste cans. Funny, not? It only hurts that I don't have these two cans in their original condition in my collection.
